Job Description for Technopark jobs- Business Intelligence Developer-RM Education solutions-Trivandrum 

• Building ad-hoc reports and analysis of data from a number of business systems to answer queries from the business to enable them to make informed decisions. 
• Building new BI applications to analyse and capture information, using Microsoft Excel and Access linked to company business systems. 
• Exposure to SQL (T-SQL) including stored procedures. 
• Hands on experience in Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, building dynamic workbooks and presentation (formatting, charts and dashboards). 
• Data analysis with experience of analysing large and separate data sets and assessing data quality issues. 
• Exposure in Microsoft Access skills with experience of designing and building new access databases. 
• Experience in gathering and analysing business requirements and writing formal system specifications. 
• Experience of using dimensional OLAP data sources and writing MDX.

Should be a Computer Graduate or a Diploma in Engineering with 3 to 5 years of work experience BI and Analysis.
Other competencies desired are Communication & attention to detail, excellent planning, organising & time management skills, good analytical and problem solving abilities with a logical approach.
